Professor of pedagogy

Gjorgjina Kjimova is a PhD of Pedagogical Sciences since 2010, at the Institute of Pedagogy at the Faculty of Philosophy, University “Sts. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje. As a student, she has distinguished herself with two awards for best student, one of which was awarded by the Student Union.

Work experience

Since 2021, she has been a full professor with more than 50 published scientific papers, with a particular focus on teaching methodology, didactics, lifelong learning and school pedagogy. Ćimova has more than 15 years of research experience.

She is the author of several significant textbooks, including “School Pedagogy”, “Education through the prism of psychological processes”, “Supervision and Evaluation”, “Basic Research Methodology” and “Teaching Methodology in Psychology”.

Throughout her career, Ćimova has actively participated in numerous educational projects related to lifelong learning and inclusive education, especially through Erasmus programs, contributing to the professional development of teachers.

As an educator, Ćimova has significant experience in the professional development of teachers, especially in the processes of external testing and inclusive education. She had professional engagement in the project “Catalog of Basic Professional Competencies of Professional Associates in Schools”, funded by USAID, and as a question controller at the State Examination Center for Electronic External Testing in Pedagogy for Secondary Gymnasiums.

Education

Throughout her career, she has paid special attention to research methodology, lifelong learning, and emotional intelligence in education. She speaks English and German at an intermediate level.
